The Texas Jazz Festival is a Texas tradition that has grown immensely over the years. This year we are proudly celebrating our 51st year of providing top quality musical entertainment ,at no charge, to the public.

Featuring established and emerging jazz artists from Texas and acclaimed musicians from around the country, the Texas Jazz Festival keeps people from all over Texas and beyond coming back every year.  Attendance in 2010 was close to 75,000 and the festival attracted many charter buses from Houston and San Antonio which brought hundreds of people and their spending power to Nueces County and specifically the City of Corpus Christi.

This year we have many great new performers and hope to set a new attendance record. We invite you to come on down to this prestigious three day event which is being held in Heritage Park located in Downtown Corpus Christi just North of I37 and opposite the American Bank Center.

The 2011 Texas Jazz Festival will be held from Friday October 21 through Sunday October 23. We will have over 50 great bands, plenty of great food and plenty of arts and crafts.

There are three stages from which to choose; the Corpus Christi Gas Stage (North Stage), the AT&T Stage (Center Stage), and the CITGO Stage (South Stage). On Friday there will be musical entertainment from 5:30pm til midnight, on Saturday from mid-day til 12:45am, and on Sunday from 11:45am til 9:15pm. For a complete schedule and some information about the artists go to our fantastic new website www.texasjazz-fest.org. You may also join the Jazz Society, volunteer, and donate through our website.

We look forward to seeing you there!
