The Rooftop at Aria Loft & Terrace

The rooftop at Aria Loft & Terrace is the newest edition to Downtown’s growing Entertainment District. Perched above Sushibar/Musicbar/Hybridspace and facing the waterfront, The Terrace offers a birds’-eye view of Uptown, Water Street, and the Corpus Christi Bay. The Terrace is truly something our city has never seen before and those of you who haven’t popped in for a look should come see Aria’s newest edition!
Much like the Main Room and the Loft, the rooftop space has a modern but comfortable design. The Terrace offers two full-service white stucco bars, framed in with tropical plants on opposite sides of the venue. The two bars were built to ensure there is never a long wait for a cocktail! Plants rim the perimeter of The Terrace as well and give the space a tropical feel. Dark rattan furniture topped with bright red cushions are scattered atop the dark teakwood terrace to provide a versatile seating scheme. The seating is set-up to accommodate parties both big and small. Banquettes for two set the mood for an intimate date night; and the conversation style seating in other areas makes The Terrace a great destination to enjoy a post dinner cocktail, or listen to the great live music played by various local artists every Friday night. The Terrace, just like the rest of the Aria complex, doubles as private event space and can be rented for wedding ceremonies and receptions, office parties, holiday parties, baby showers and more. Plans for al fresco dining and Sunday Brunch are in the works.

This new addition to the Aria venue is one of several strategic moves by the owners to continually improve their venue and the the Downtown Entertainment District. Owner Lindsey Pietsch says, … “We believe that breathing new life and energy into our venue, and downtown as a whole, is the best way to say thank you to our loyal customers for the past 3 years. We are constantly trying to improve and challenge ourselves. Having an outdoor/rooftop space was always the plan for Aria, and we are really proud of the entertainment complex it has become. The people of Corpus Christi deserve up-to-date, exciting venues. Our hope is that, eventually, the Downtown Entertainment District will be full of restaurants, bars, night clubs and retail destinations for citizens of the Coastal Bend and tourists alike to enjoy.”
To sum it up The Terrace is a unique and exciting addition to Aria and Downtown Corpus Christi. It shows off the best of what Corpus has to offer. Spend an evening on the Terrace at Aria. You won’t feel like you’re in Corpus Christi; you’ll feel like you’re in the Sparkling City by the Bay!
